· Announcement
Timeless XI now has a home on the web. You'll find how to get started, a full new player guide covering crafting, Champions, the Mog House and every job quest, and news like this as the server takes shape.
Questions, ideas and bug reports are welcome in the Discord.
· Balance
The Dusk set (Mask, Jerkin, Gloves, Trousers and Ledelsens, both NQ and +1) no longer lowers your movement speed. Everything else about the set is unchanged.
The item descriptions in the Timeless client files have been updated to match, so the "decreases movement speed" line is gone in game too.
· Jobs
Black Mage's reworked kit now comes with three ways to keep casting:
Overload Refund: releasing an Overload gives back 20% of the nuke's MP cost for each stack.
Banked Embers: below the Last Ember line, black magic costs half as much MP.
Harvest the Flame: a nuke that defeats a monster restores 20% of your maximum MP.
· Community
Every character, new and existing, now carries the Timeless pearl in their first linkshell slot, with a new hourglass icon by your name. Your old first-slot linkshell moves to the second slot if it's free.
It's the server's shared channel: ask a question, call for help, or just say hello.
· Treasure
Treasure Caskets now drop only from monsters that give you EXP, so they reward real hunting rather than farming weak monsters. Battlefield monsters no longer leave caskets.
Blue caskets hold gil and crafting materials, brown caskets hold gear, and the rare rainbow casket holds an upgrade for your own job and level.
